Overview

Arena Red Metallic | Black Leather | 6-Speed Manual | LHD

We are delighted to offer this beautifully presented Porsche 911 (993) Carrera 2 Coupé, finished in the highly desirable colour combination of Arena Red Metallic over Black Leather.

Supplied new in Germany in October 1995, this left-hand-drive example is equipped with the sought-after 6-speed manual transmission and its naturally aspirated 3.6-litre flat-six Varioram engine, producing 285 bhp.

Showing just 114,600 km (approximately 71,500 miles) from new, the car is accompanied by its original fully stamped Porsche service book, original handbook pack, factory option sticker and an extensive history file containing service records and invoices.

The 993 represents the final generation of the air-cooled Porsche 911 and is widely regarded as one of the most usable and desirable classic 911s ever produced, combining traditional 911 character with genuinely modern levels of drivability.

  • Professional alloy wheel refurbishment

  • Minor cosmetic paint correction and detailing

The underside is exceptionally clean and original in appearance, with the factory undertrays still present and no evidence of structural corrosion.

History & Provenance

The car is accompanied by a substantial history file containing service documentation and invoices, its fully stamped original Porsche service book and original handbook pack.

The history file also comprehensively documents a minor front-left repair carried out in 2011, principally involving replacement of the front wing and bumper. The work was completed by a Porsche-approved body repair workshop and was subject to independent expert inspection throughout the repair process before being formally approved under the French VE procedure. The completed car was subsequently inspected and signed off by Porsche Centre Poitiers.

Importantly, the repair is fully documented rather than simply inferred from previous paintwork. The supporting repair invoices, independent expert reports and geometry documentation remain with the car, which has subsequently covered more than 30,000 km over approximately 15 years without any related issues.

We believe this level of transparency and documentation is particularly valuable on a 30-year-old Porsche. It is increasingly uncommon to find cars of this age that have never received some form of paintwork or body repair during their lifetime, yet the circumstances and quality of such work are often unknown. In this instance, the nature of the repair, the work undertaken and the subsequent professional inspections are all documented, allowing a prospective owner to assess the car with confidence rather than speculation.

The quality of the repair remains flawless today and we would be very happy to accommodate any professional or independent pre-purchase inspection, including inspection by a Porsche Centre/specialist of a prospective purchaser's choice.

Summary

An attractive and increasingly collectible 993 Carrera 2 Varioram Coupé in one of the model's most desirable colour combinations and exceptional cosmetic and mechanical condition.

With its 285 bhp Varioram flat-six, 6-speed manual gearbox and rear-wheel-drive chassis, this is a particularly appealing specification of Porsche's final air-cooled 911, complemented by low mileage, excellent provenance and an unusually comprehensive supporting history file.

A rare opportunity to acquire a low-owner, extremely well-maintained and beautifully presented 993 Carrera 2, fully serviced, professionally prepared and ready to enjoy.
