This wonderful 1973 Alfa Romeo GTV 2000 Bertone Coupe left the factory in March 1973 and was sold new through a dealer in Palermo, Italy. Chassis AR2434792 is noted to have remained with the family of the original owner until 2012 and later underwent a rotisserie refurbishment by Autofficina B&B Motors of Bolzano, Italy, from 2019 to 2023.
Work involved stripping, zinc coating, and repairing the body prior to a repaint in Perviche Blue as well as re-trimming the seats in Cinghiale Skai vinyl and rebuilding the 1,962cc twin-cam inline-four, five-speed manual transmission, and limited-slip differential.
The car rides on 15″ GTA-style wheels from Alfaholics paired with their Fast Road suspension kit featuring Type B lowering springs and Koni shocks. The engine breathes through dual Weber carburetors and has been fitted with a 123ignition electronic distributor as well as an Alfaholics stainless-steel exhaust system. The car is offered with an Alfa Romeo Classiche Certificato di Origine, an Automotoclub Club Storico Italiano certificate, service records, a set of 14″ Daytona-style wheels, a car cover, and French registration.
